Local hazards. Reported: very shallow sandbars, powerful rips as the tide moves over the banks, fast closeouts ('a fine line between a barrel and a close-out'), heavy shorebreak-style lips, big crowds with strict hierarchy on quality days, many bodyboarders. Take local advice before paddling out on big days.
